FB Video Saver is a small, single-purpose web tool: paste a public Facebook video link, get a direct file back. It lives on ebikeschemepk.com and is run independently by its owner — it's not a large company, and it's not affiliated with Meta Platforms, Inc. in any way.
Why we built it
Facebook doesn't offer a built-in "save to device" option for most videos on the web. When you want to keep a copy of something public — a recipe, a talk, a clip a friend shared — the usual options are screen recording or a browser extension of unknown origin. We wanted something faster and more transparent: no extension to install, no account, and a page you can read top to bottom to understand exactly what it does.
How it works, briefly
When you submit a link, our server requests the public page the same way a browser would, reads the video's own published metadata, and hands the direct file location back to your browser. Nothing is downloaded onto our server first, and nothing is cached after your session — the full detail is in our privacy policy.
What it won't do
It won't open private videos, content restricted to friends or groups, or anything behind a login wall — those protections belong to the person who posted the video, and this tool respects them. If a link fails, that's usually why.
